Ultimate Express is a new professional moving company serving the Beverly Hills area, Pacific Palisades, and every city in between in California. It’s CEO and owner Josh Quijano was looking to create a luxe logistical solution when deciding how to position UE in the moving industry. Above all else, Josh wanted his customers to experience a “white glove” level of service, no matter how big or small the moving job was.
We partnered with Verge Collective to create a modern and approachable brand that felt exclusive yet inclusive at the same time. Our initial concept started with developing a modern, edgy logo unlike anything seen in the moving industry, and then continuing to build on this concept with out-of-the-box brainstorming, quirky colors, experimental page layouts and conversational messaging and tone.
Ultimately, we wanted Ultimate Express to enter the industry with a fresh and powerful professional look that extended far beyond the anything traditionally seen in the logistical moving industry.

LOGO
The new logo for UE needed to reflect edginess and movement, while also being powerful and easily recognizable.
We started with a monogram-esque base using the letters “U” and “E” and then began to experiment with shifting and removing pieces of the letters in an effort to unite them together in a unique way.
We then proceeded with a super thin font pairing option to bring in a touch of quirk while also reducing some of the seriousness of the powerful “UE” monogram.

The Ultimate Moving Experience

A Simplified Web Presence
The goal was simple: create a digital presence that would act as an informational hub for UE.
We knew visitors coming to the website would either:
Be new potential clients.
Inquire about shipping/logistical rates.
Inquire about the types of moving services offered by UE.
Inquire about locations/distance and scaling.
The information architecture of the site came about seamlessly after after. We opted for a semi-static homepage offering quotes, a mini company blurb, licensing information, and testimonials/video to bring consumer trust and weight to the site.
We opted for simple black and white imagery of the UE team in action to really push their family-centric angle and kept all blurbs short and effective. We also made the site slightly warmer by anticipating client needs like moving checklists, moving how-to’s, maps, and anything else that would make the moving experience as seamless as possible.
“Homeowners trust us,
Realtors love us,
Interior Designers know
we’'ll get the job done every time”.
The Results
Since our launch, Ultimate Express has scaled to more than 20 cities in over 20 states in North America.
Ultimate Express has gone on to amass major clients like MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas, Monte Carlo and Rancho Mirage hotel in Palm Springs.
UE has expanded their team to over 20+ dedicated workers.
UE has achieved their goal of serving not only homes, but multi-million dollar condos, sky-rise units and penthouses as well.
The success of UE has prompted its CEO Josh Quijano to expand the company by teaching others how to succeed in the trucking business.
