ESCAPADES is the adult guide to everything Los Angeles. This website highlights the very best that LA culture and nightlife have to offer the young millennial. From fine dining and cocktails, to entertainment and relaxation, ESCAPADES guarantees that each visitor (whether an LA native or not) will be immersed in the best recommendations for their specific interest(s). ABD wanted to evoke a mood that was sexy and vibrant for the website while still being professional and future-forward.

LOGO
The construction of the ESCAPADES logo is based in luxury and leisure. We thought deeply about some of our favorite pastimes and decided to experiment with the lines and shapes produced my sailboats. We also looked at monograms logos like Gucci and Chanel for their symmetrical design and appeal. Once we crafted the logo, we decided to duplicate it and flip directions to create that same symmetrical luxe feel.
Each supplemental color of the brand represents a sector of Los Angeles living:
BLUE representing Los Angeles
RED representing Cocktail Culture
GREEN representing Fine Dining
ORANGE representing Entertainment
PURPLE representing Relaxation
WEB DESIGN
The design for the website was set in a fantasy world of full color saturation. We wanted to use color in a strategic and memorable way to truly push the idea of each sector of Los Angeles. The individual page designs are designed to be split in half: Half of each page showcases the best of the best, while the lower half of each page showcases a live location of the top rated restaurant, bar, spa, beach, etc.
